In an evening of gala recognition, many prestigious Martial Artists were inducted into the 2000 Hall of Fame. This event was unrivaled in the presentation of the Marine Corps Color Guard, the wonderful dinner, distinguished guests, and acceptance of all the represented Martial Arts with the highest of decorum.
Included in the guest list were the Maine Inductees,
Sensei Ruth Moore of Coastal
Martial Arts and Sensei Joe McPhereson of Moontide Martial Arts II.
From the United States Martial Arts Association,
as the New England Regional Representative - Master Kenneth Miarecki and
his students Sensei Israel Lopez, Sensei Larry Coleman, and Sensei Roger
Perriault, all from the Sen-i
Dojo. Also present was the distinguished president of the USMA
- O'Sensei Philip Porter from California.

Soke Brown and his wife Fran have presented a quality Martial Arts event that recognizes the accomplishments of Many well deserving Martial Artists throughout the world. This event is one of the most prestigious events in New England and commands respect from Asia and other countries. In this ceremony, the Inductees are recognized by their peers for their humanitarian efforts and accomplishments in promoting the Martial Arts in their respected fields of expertise.
